What are the key points for operating a tube machine?

The standardized operation of tube machines is key to ensuring pipe quality, production safety, and equipment service life, requiring strict adherence to equipment characteristics and process standards.

Pre-startup inspections are essential. Confirm that raw material specifications match the mold and remove impurities from the feed inlet; check the lubricating oil level of the transmission system to ensure sufficient lubrication of chains and gears; adjust the guide wheel spacing with an error within 0.5mm to avoid excessive ovality during pipe forming.

Precise control of tube machine parameters is necessary. Adjust extrusion temperature according to pipe material: set 180-220℃ for PE pipes and 160-190℃ for PVC pipes, with temperature fluctuation not exceeding ±5℃; keep traction speed synchronized with extrusion speed at a ratio of 1.05-1.1 to prevent excessive stretching or wrinkling of pipes.

Attention to detail control during tube machine operation is vital. Observe the surface finish of pipes in real time, and promptly clean carbon deposits in the mold when scratches appear; measure pipe diameter regularly, record data hourly, and immediately adjust the vacuum degree of the sizing sleeve if the deviation exceeds 0.3mm; confirm sufficient cooling of pipes before cutting to avoid incision cracking due to internal stress.

Safety protection measures for tube machines must be in place. Operators should wear high-temperature-resistant gloves and goggles, and tie long hair into safety helmets; avoid touching rotating parts when the equipment is running, and clean waste only after shutdown; in emergencies, press the emergency stop button immediately and handle faults only after the equipment has completely stopped.

Post-shutdown maintenance of tube machines affects equipment life. Clean the mold after turning off the power and remove residual materials with special tools; perform descaling on heating modules and check the tightness of wiring terminals; record production data and equipment operation status of the tube machine for reference in the next startup. Standardized operation can reduce the failure rate by 30% and increase the pipe qualification rate to over 98%.
